Particularly well-known and popular: the sweet mustard invented by company founder Johann Conrad Develey in 1854. You could practically call it our cult product.
Grown big from small beginnings: Today, our family-owned and operated company combines many strong brands under one roof. These include the Bavarian mustard and condiment brand Develey, the east German favourite mustard Bautz’ner, the Düsseldorf mustard specialist Löwensenf as well as Specht, the Bavarian quality label for fine pickled delicacies.
Our success strategy? We know and note the regional taste preferences of consumers and ensure that regionality is maintained when expanding the brands.
